Authentic Horsemanship
We practice “Authentic Horsemanship” — a relationship-based approach that prioritises trust, understanding and partnership over dominance or force. Every horse at The Hideout is treated with respect, patience and care.
Our Horses
Our diverse herd includes Quarter Horses, Paints and a remarkable one-third who are rescued and retrained American Mustangs. Each horse has a distinct personality and story. Guests ride more than one horse during their stay, experiencing the breadth and richness of our herd.
